Tia Wright began baking cheesecakes in 2017 as a personal hobby, aiming to create a special treat for her growing family. Her husband, Jarvis, and their children quickly became enamored with the cakes, and Jarvis saw an opportunity. He suggested introducing them at family gatherings like Thanksgiving and Christmas, believing others would be just as impressed. To their surprise, family and close friends not only raved about the cakes but also began requesting them—offering to pay for their own.

This unexpected response ignited a spark for Tia and Jarvis. They realized they might be onto something special. Tia honed her skills by experimenting with new techniques and flavors, while Jarvis focused on building an efficient production system, acquiring equipment, and refining sales and marketing strategies. Their six (now seven) children played a pivotal role, serving as taste testers and helping to finalize flavor selections for the menu.

Over the next few years, The Wrights continued selling their cheesecakes primarily to friends and family. In March of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic changed everything. With Tia unable to continue working at her regular job and a growing family to support, the couple saw this challenging time as the perfect opportunity to fully commit to their cheesecake business.

Since then, their family-owned business is flourishing and has steadily gained recognition. Through word-of-mouth recommendations, an active social media presence, and strategic partnerships, such as Shoprite, Amazon BDL #4, 881 Grab & Go, Mothers Moss and more! Today, their mission is clear: to become a beloved staple in Connecticut and beyond, offering the finest cheesecakes made with passion, dedication, and a personal touch.
